Labor Day Picnic

Ashley Gaschk, President of North Dakota AFL–CIO, will be a featured speaker at the District 34 & District 35 Labor Day Picnic on September 9.

Join Districts 34 and 35 for a community Labor Day Picnic on September 9, bringing together union members, working families, community leaders, and neighbors from across Mandan and Bismarck. The event will feature remarks from ND AFL-CIO President Ashley Gaschk, who will share perspectives on the issues facing North Dakota workers and the importance of strengthening opportunities for working families. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet and visit with local legislative candidates, including candidates from Districts 31 and 33, helping foster conversations about the future of our communities and state. Whether you’re a longtime labor supporter or simply interested in connecting with fellow residents, the picnic offers a welcoming setting to celebrate the contributions of workers and civic engagement that helps keep our communities strong.

There is no admission charge, and this event is not a fundraiser. However, free-will donations are always appreciated and help support the work of local volunteers, community outreach efforts, and Democratic organizing throughout our region. The District 34 & District 35 Labor Day Picnic is simply an opportunity for families, friends, neighbors, and supporters of working people to gather together, build community, and celebrate the labor movement’s contributions to North Dakota.
